Winner of the most cliché blog post title for a post about a trip to London goes to? Oh well at least I'm finally posting something! I just got back from a short trip to London with my parents, sister and her friend. It was very spontaneous, but I had some free days and some money so I went for it. I had a blast! London is mental and crazy and I couldn't ever live there because it's so mental but it's one of my favourite places to visit for a few days.
Also I got to see ma gurl Bethany of Arched Eyebrow. We went to a secret basement bar and then to Candy bar in Soho and drank Pimms. And I managed to get back to the flat by myself in the early morning in London by taking buses without getting lost. This has got to merit some kind of award. Also I went to see The Lion King and it was awesome and I didn't even get THAT scared that we were sitting up in the gods (hate heights).
I got a Fuji x100 last week so I had fun experimenting with it on the trip, I have a lot to learn but I am loving it!
I died at all the Moomins.
I was looking for Primrose Bakery but rushed and went here instead. It was not good :(
On the way to London with my happy terrible badges.
I got those giant Reece's in Cyber Candy, each cup weighs 8oz!
Apparently I enjoy taking photos of myself drinking things, namely Pina Coladas and Lemonade.
My new camera and love, also me in my glasses what I need to see as I am blind as a bat.
Me and B-Rutt.
I hope you enjoyed the photos, it's looking like I have a LOT more travelling coming up in the next few months so I'm super psyched to share more photos! x

Lovely photos. It's funny before I started going to London more regularly I always said I could never move there - but now I really want to, haha!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I wish I could have warned you about Candy Cakes - blurghhhh!
cakes and cotails in the big smoke, best way to spend a few days :) I'm going soo to see Madonna and I want to check out the ballroom exhibition on the V&A. You got some beautiful shots with your new camera x
ReplyDeleteWhere did you see the Moomins? xx
ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend has an X100 and it's lovely. He's a massive film camera nerd and people always expect him to be using one so it really confuses them when it turns out to be digital :D
ReplyDeleteI love cybercandy! I used to use it so many years ago before you could get any american candy over here, but now I use Stateside Candy Company. If you haven't used it before, I would highly recommend. They have sooo much American stuff, not just candy, but all different types of crisps, cereals, baking things, jars and non food things. The best!
ReplyDeleteYour camera looks amazing! Well, actually, all of the pictures do, haha! Seems like you had a great time :)
ReplyDeleteWow! I love your camera, its so cute. Your photographs are amazing, such quality in them.
ReplyDeleteYou deserve a medal for going on the buses, I got lost in Kings Cross somehow :S

I just discovered the Moomin shop last weekend too, isn't it amazing! Candy Cakes are so bad, I don't even get how they're still in business! Primrose Bakery is just on the street behind where the old Covent Garden market is - Tavistock St, it's definitely worth a visit...and next time you go you have to try Meat Market, an amazing burger and milkshake joint in the upstairs area of the old Covent Garden market - the food is super delish! and your photographs turned out so awesome, looks like it's going to be a great camera!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are just so lovely but I do have to say that my favorite thing is your hair! I love the color (s)!!
