If you've checked out my blogroll you're maybe familiar with the wonderful Crumbs for Dinner blog. Well, the writer - a wonderful lady called Grania, got married this weekend past. My closest friend Sarah Kane and I had the pleasure of flying out to a little Medieval village in Somerset called Dunster to photograph the wedding, eat, drink and be merry. And that we did! I had such a good weekend.
The photos of the wedding are under wraps until they're finished being edited (which Sarah is doing, because let's face it I can't edit photos to save my life - I'm still mourning Picnik and Pic Monkey just isn't the same....sob!). Still, I did a lot of things this that made it a weekend I will never forget, so I wanted to share some snapshots, and two sneaky shots of the bride and groom nabbed from facebook while the official ones are kept secret. I couldn't resist, just look how beautiful Grania is! Her dress was her mother's wedding dress and the veil was vintage.
We had no phone or internet signal (wonderfully refreshing), drank toffee apple cider and champagne, danced to New Order (the couple's first dance!), hugged some Shetland ponies (in love), bounced on a trampoline, climbed fences through muddy fields, devoured Eton Mess from a vintage teacup with heart shaped shortbread and came up with a new tv show idea called Strictly Come Dance With Me (credit goes to Grania for that one - I think it'll be a hit!).

Congrats to your friend, it sounds as if it was just perfect. I love the pictures, the town looks so picturesque, and I adore the dress you are wearing here. I love the band New Order, which song did they dance to?
