The ultimate blogger cliché?

In my bag.

My bag was £14.99 from H&M (I almost never shop there, I find their sizing rubbish/weird). They have it in red and brown as well.

I have to admit I am pretty proud that I have made it three years of blogging before doing on of these posts, they're the ultimate cliché when it comes to fashion blogging. In all honesty though? I love what's in my bag posts. I am the nosiest person alive, I love seeing what people carry around with them and let's face it, blogging is all about voyeurism. Hopefully you like this post, and I won't rely too heavily on clichés in the future. That means no Jeffery Campbell Lita's, reviews of GlossyBox/Boudoir Privé, raving about Kindles or multitudes of inspiration photo posts. All tongue in cheek of course, I usually enjoy reading those posts. I actually am a massive cliché. I've had dip dye hair, I bake cupcakes and I do nail art. Enough said. I hope you like this all the same!

In my bag.

1. Keys, Dior Midnight Poison perfume, hairbrush, painkillers and makeup.
2. A handout from Derby practice, some obscure cherry chew bars from Lidl, gum, name badge from work.
3. Toki Doki wallet from France.
4. Headphones, lipsticks, comb, iphone 4.
5. A book I bought from Oxfam today, mints, some jewellery, a party invite, loose change.
6. Some reciepts, my bag is usually FULL of bits of paper but this is a new bag and I haven't managed to mess it up yet. Oh and my Moo cards.

In my bag. In my bag.

In my bag.

In my bag. In my bag.

In my bag.

  1. I love these posts too! Don't care if they're a cliche. Your bag is delicious. I've always loved H&M bags, is it recent? I've too many bags to justify it though.

Least favourite is the superficial garnering hits commenting: "oh i love your pictures, here's my blog xxxx"

  2. The lil gold horse is absolutely beautiful, as is your use of graphics on this post! Thumbs up from me :)

  3. I, too, like these posts! It's obvious your contents are honest, which I like. Some people seem to have the most perfect, simple and clean bags and I don't believe for a moment there's not at least a receipt or a bit of tissue or an IKEA pencil in there.

  4. That bag is gorgeous, reminds me of the Polly Push Lock bag from Mulberry. x

  5. That is an awesome invite ;). I can't do these posts because my bag is the most boring ever. Alpen bates phone wallet ten million bus tickets and a too faced lip gloss. Nothing cute or amazing. Id have to stunt stuff my bag and pretend I carried a copy of Beckett everywhere with me.
Awesome u carry round way more tad stuff than me.

  7. I find what people have in their bags to be fascinating as well. It says a lot about that person, as well as the bag they carry.

And there is purse physics, otherwise known as, everything going to be bottom, but only when you are looking for something.

  8. Ooh I have this bag! I love how much crap it fits in it! Wish the strap was a little thicker though! xx

  9. Blogger cliche it may be but I still find these kinda posts interesting, we all love seeing other people's possessions. And all the better when it's in a neatly presented way such as this haha

  10. I also love posts like these, it doesn't matter whether they are cliché or not! people are nosy, and interested in others , and as for me I love it when people share things about their daily lives such as these.

I love that bag, the mustard colour is wonderful! I'm also incredibly ~jelly~ of your hello kitty brush. Super cute!

  13. I love posts like this, purely because, like you, I am the nosiest person. I love the interior design type posts for the same reason! I lasted about 2 months before doing my 'what's in my bag' post!
I don't own Lita's, or have dip-dyed hair, and I HATE THE KINDLE, I hope I'm not toooo cliched haha! I know the Kindle is more environmentally friendly, but it's just not the same thing as a book! xx

  14. I like these posts too. Would any of us be reading blogs if we weren't all nosy? It's a good excuse to have a good peer in people's wardrobes, handbags and homes!
I don't like obviously sponsored content when it's not declared clearly that it's been paid for.
I'm a blogger cliche in that I wear brogues, and take pigeon-toed photos (my nan told me off for doing that at my graduation!) and I have more shoes than I could ever wear. But I'm also really not a cliche in that I don't accessorise to the hilt like most bloggers, nor do I have a photographer boyfriend ;)

  15. Lol I love a gud cliché especially when it allows me to be nosey :) What's in your bag, where you live etc
I'm not so much a fan of blogger snobbery to certain brands/shops and sponsored posts. Getting paid to write what they want defeats the purpose of blogging in my opinion, although some get into to blogging for the paid notoriety. To each his own I suppose.

I don't think I have a least favorite blogging cliche, though.. I usually enjoy most of what people write! Oh, wait, I just thought of something! Sponsored posts (with uber fake review), maybe?
