I've felt my style changing a lot over the last 6 months (no idea why) and this outfit is a good example. I still love my vintage and floral dresses but I've been feeling a little bit more like throwing on some heavy boots and a band tshirt lately. This top is about the fiercest thing I own (and resulted in my saying to a friend "how can it not be fierce? It's a lion! It's the epitome of fierce!"). In reality I am about as fierce as a kitten with a phobia of dust. But I still love it.

It would mean the world to me to be nominated. When I think how much this blog has done for my confidence it blows me away. I was always shy and heavily insecure about my weight before I started blogging and got introduced to so many other amazing girls, and I'm thankful for it every time I walk out the door. For example, a few years ago I'd have been way too scared to wear shorts! Thank you to anyone that does nominate me <3
And of course, a song that is amazing and everyone should hear. I think you will be hearing a lot of Emeli Sandé from now on.
I love your ditsy floral dresses, but I love you in stuff like this a teensy bit more! I would totally do shorts and boots if I felt that could pull them off... but alas!

I know exactly what you mean it seems lately my pretty dresses have been taking a back seat as all I've wanted to wear are boots and a vest or tee, your nails are amaze I'll have to try doing that to mine sometime xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love this look and I'm going through a similar thing at the moment. My whole wardrobe is full of bright floral dressed but I've been wearing tshirts with demin shorts recently and I've bought a few band tshirt. Tough isn't my look at all but I want to try it out.
