I haven't deserted you!

Hello all! Sorry I have been absent for a while, I was partying it up in Manchester. I mainly drank, danced and ate a lot of unhealthy food for a week. It was brilliant. But now I am back and I have some fun things coming up for the blog including a blog sale.

For now have this little treat from one of my favorite shops, Lovehearts and crosses! Enter FFCUPCAKE10 at the checkout to get free delivery on orders over £15, valid until the 30th of June. I've bought from them many times and they're one of the most lovely, quick and reliable companies to deal with. I haven't been paid or given free stuff to say this by the way! My current favorite is this brooch, damn I wish I wasn't trying to save for the summer! Now, back to the sun and boxing up the cupcakes I made for a friend earlier. Thanks for reading and I'll be back soon!

Today I will be happier than a bird with a French fry!

After lots of excitement my graduation dress arrived. I know, I know it will be covered in my robe for most of the day but look how pretty it is! It's from Get Cutie Co. I love it to bits. It's a lot more than I'd normally spend on a dress but the quality is amazing and you know you won't see someone beside you in the same one, like with Topshop and Primark dresses. Plus it matches my tattoos. The best thing about Get Cutie is that they offer a very wide range of sizes and you can choose your cup size too so you won't have to get a dress that's loose everywhere else but your boobs.

My earrings are also pretty awesome, no? You can also get them in purple. If you are a fan of Love Hearts and Crosses like me, be sure to check my blog soon for a little treat for you all.

Also, not related but I wanted to share this cake I made last night. I made it for someone who has done amazing things for me that would require many, many cakes to show my appreciation but I just made one. It's a 3 layer cake - one strawberry pink, one vanilla and one chocolate and had chocolate buttercream on the inside.

Summer Picnics

Loads of you listed picnics as your favorite thing to do in summer, I have to agree! Picnics are pretty amazing. There's nothing better than lounging in the sun with your bestie and some yummy food!

Usually I would bake for a picnic but it was just too hot and beautiful outside to bake. I did make some chocolate strawberries, I used the big bars of chocolate from Sainsbury's that are less than 30p each and taste lovely, bargain. Adding a little oil to the melted chocolate gives it a nice sheen as well. Just melt the chocolate, dip the strawberries in and lay them on some baking paper in the fridge to harden. Voila! I made some white chocolate raspberries the same way.

We also scoffed a huge bag of the Natural Confectionery Company dinosaurs. They are actually amazing, and Sarah and I find them hilarious since we took a trip to London one time to see Tori Amos and the show was postponed so we spent much of the evening filling ourselves with dinosaurs to cheer us up.

And just for fun, here's what I wore! We went into the tropical ravine for these photos, big mistake! It was so clammy I could hardly breathe. Pretty, though!

Hurrah! I finished my undergraduate degree today! The exam was...well, difficult. But it's over now! I was supposed to be going out with some other film students tonight for cocktails but we are all so exhausted that we're going to the cinema instead. Here's my outfit from this afternoon! Ooh, I also got my hair cut today finally.

I don't know if I can really pull this hat off without looking ridiculous but it's really cute and it was only £3.

I LOVE this ring! It's from Topshop.

And I got this pair of black flats for £6 from Primark, I had worn out my other ones which were actually from Office and lasted less time than any of my Primark ones but cost many times as much.

In honour of my FREEDOMMMM please tell me, what is your favorite thing to do in summer?

Can you believe it's June already? I have my last exam tomorrow, possibly my last exam ever actually! I can't wait to be free and be able to share my adventures with you. I've rebooked to go to Manchester after the volcano disaster, so I am going there next week! Then in July I will be in Dublin, London and Paris. I am SO excited! In the meantime have an outfit from today. I was just revising but I changed into heels for the photo because to be honest the fluffy leopard print slippers I was wearing didn't look so good! Now, back to revision for me.

I wanted mad gold nails but I didn't have any polish that colour, so I just mixed some gold glitter with clear nail polish.

Also have you heard Kylie's new song? I love it/her.
