Well, it's still Monday for another half hour! Sorry this is so late, just got back from Manchester today. I will share photos from that very soon. In the meantime I wanted to share this amazing film with you, it's called Far from Heaven by Todd Haynes. It's a beautiful and poignant film about a housewife in 1950s America dealing with issues surrounding her husband's sexuality and her attraction to an African American man who is also of a lower class than her.
Far from Heaven explores the controversy surrounding issues of sexuality and race in the 1950s and manages to look visually stunning whilst doing so, the colours are amazingly intense. It also has one of my favorite actresses of all time in it, Julianne Moore. Before Mad Men this is where I got my 1950s fashion inspiration and is a must see.
