Back from France and new boots!

Sorry I have been absent for a while, I had some stuff going on which made me not want to blog and I was in France for a bit but I'm back now!

We went swimming in this lake.

I had my induction today for my Masters course in Film Studies, I'm so excited to start it. My university is so nice in autumn covered in leaves, I love seeing everyones outfits. One thing I love about British fashion is that it's so experimental and there's no shortage of inspiration around.

This is my university, I love it.

There's still a little bit of warmth in the air but it won't be around for too much longer and I am looking forward to my scarves and hats. My new winter boots arrived this morning. I had a similar pair last year from Clarks and thought that because they were from Clarks and cost £100 that they would be good quality but they fell apart after two months. Lesson learned! Price doesn't always indicate quality.

Dress - Primark
Leggings - Primark
Boots - Evans
Cardigan - New Look
Necklace - Topshop
Ring - Topshop

I got these boots from Evans, they had 20% off at the time as well so I think they were about £36 in the end.

I would normally never wear two lace pieces at the same time but I quite liked this look and I threw the lace dress on at the last minute and was too lazy to change my leggings. Oh! I changed my hair as well, I was getting bored of the red. It's good to be back, please forgive me for neglecting you all!

  1. Looking gorgeous as usual! Love the boots, with the lace dress you have this whole victoriana thing going on but not in an obvious way. I like it.

I've just applied for a different MA course and will be taking some film studies modules, you might have to help me out... it's been a long time since Alevel media studies!

    Glad to have you back.

  13. Oh Claire, those boots are just a bit of amazing aren't they?
Obviously I love them, they are very me, don't you think? I think so. Also, they are grey. Grey is my favourite clothes colour (yellow being my favourite colour, but grey is my favourite clothing colour). So all in all, I'm blown away by your boots.

    Also love your photos.

Finally, you are looking lovely. You are in great shape. Looking very slender & 'shapely' (is shapely a word? I don't know, I basically mean, your shape looks rocking & very toned or something...haha, I sound so strange).

OFF TOPIC: I'm putting you in my links list on my blog (it's done now, just need to put it up, trying to do so at the moment) - so put me in your links list, please!! (Haha, you don't actually have to! I'm just trying to really get my blog going, doing lots of WIWT posts and stuff in the near future, making it more active etc). Seriously, you don't have to if you don't want to link me, haha, I'm just messing about, but if you do well thank you. :) x

  14. PLEASE KEEP BLOODY UPDATING! I like reading you. And I like your dark hair, I understand what a veritable nightmare maintenance on red hair is.

  17. I love the lace on lace, I think as long as it's subtle, it can work really well (like here!) Uni is gorgeous, like you and I am pleased that stuff is going so well for you :)
