After lots of excitement my graduation dress arrived. I know, I know it will be covered in my robe for most of the day but look how pretty it is! It's from Get Cutie Co. I love it to bits. It's a lot more than I'd normally spend on a dress but the quality is amazing and you know you won't see someone beside you in the same one, like with Topshop and Primark dresses. Plus it matches my tattoos. The best thing about Get Cutie is that they offer a very wide range of sizes and you can choose your cup size too so you won't have to get a dress that's loose everywhere else but your boobs.

Dress - Get Cutie Co.
Shoes - Tesco (!)
Tights - Primark
Earrings - Love Hearts and Crosses
Hairclip - Urban Outfitters

My earrings are also pretty awesome, no? You can also get them in purple. If you are a fan of Love Hearts and Crosses like me, be sure to check my blog soon for a little treat for you all.

Also, not related but I wanted to share this cake I made last night. I made it for someone who has done amazing things for me that would require many, many cakes to show my appreciation but I just made one. It's a 3 layer cake - one strawberry pink, one vanilla and one chocolate and had chocolate buttercream on the inside.

That dress looks so lovely! :D

ReplyDeleteThat dress is so lovely on you! I love the really flattering cut, I'll have to check that site out.
ReplyDeleteJust incase you didn't know but graduation gowns usually need a button to fasten on to so you might have to sew a button on the dress, but it'll still look fab!
That dress is darling and so are your shoes :)
ReplyDeleteGosh, the print on that dress is amazingly gorgeous! Love the little birdies :)

The dress is gorgeous :D So Spring looking! Hope you have a wonderful day, ps delish cakies!
ReplyDeleteThat dress is gorgeous! Although if you have to wear a gown they pin it to you so they generally require you to wear something with button holes as otherwise they will pin it onto your actual dress and its really heavy so if its thin cotton it might make a hole. Sorry to put a downer on it but thought I'd let you know incase you didn't know! Of course if its thick material then it'll probably be fine :)
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing and the cake is to die for!
ReplyDeleteThat dress is amazing! I love the cherry earrings paired with it :) I'll have to check that store out the next time I'm in the market for a fancy dress.
ReplyDeleteYour dress is so cute! I love it.
ReplyDeleteAnd you always make beautiful cupcakes and cakes. I hope your friend appreciates it :)
Love your blog! I found you through flickr. Congrats on graduating! Any idea what you want to do next?

i stumbled upon your blog and they are lovely.. love all your shots!!! thanks for sharing and congrats on your graduation!!! ^*^
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your earrings! I'm excited about the "little treat." :] :]
ReplyDeleteI love our blog! I mean, is great! I love that curvy girls (like me) forget stereotypes and show to all the people and the world we can be fashion and cute, no matter the size. Wehe I live (spain) is quite difficult find blogs about curvy girls so when I discovered your blog made my day happy :) You're a great and perfect model to follow for us :)
ReplyDeleteI love the dress! It really does match your tattoos :D I agree, its so pesky that it's gonna be covered up by the flowing graduation robes, and the probably-either-oversized-or-undersized mortarboard! Lol, I digress...it's a gorgeous dress, it looks lovely and very you! :) xoxox
ReplyDeleteWhoa I think that is the most amazing cake I have ever seen. THREE-tiered?!?! Que?!?! You talented miss. I love the idea behind a size-specific dress like that, I suffer from the challenge of bigger boobs and smaller waist so this could be a lifesaver for me thanks!
