Une femme est une femme.

I'm a film student, so I am not about to deny my undying love for Jean Luc Godard films. I just love them. I don't always agree with their message, or treatment of women to be though. But I love Anna Karina, and I love the red, white and blue colours of the French flag that are always seen in his films. One of my favorites is A Woman is a Woman. I wanted to share some stills from the film and an outfit post to match.

My red outfit.

Coat - Topshop.
Dress - Miss Selfridge.
Tights - Dorothy Perkins
Shoes - Tesco (!).
Bow - Primark.
Necklace - Accessorize.
Brooch - Liberty Blue, Belfast.
Umbrella - Tradewinds, Belfast.

I was so excited to get these tights but they're so rubbish :( I laddered them twice putting them on even though I was being so careful. I feel like I should ask for a refund, and Dorothy Perkins tights are usually amazing. I guess the sheer ones are just a lot more fragile. Saying that my sheer pokla dot Primark ones are still holding up well.

Some Godard fashion inspiration for you below! Check back this evening for the results of my blog giveaway!
